Patrick Sharp
John Patrick Sharp ( * December 27 1981 in Thunder Bay, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League on the position of the left outer striker.

Career
Patrick Sharp began his career in his hometown at the Thunder Bay Flyers in the United States Hockey League. He then continued his career at the University of Vermont. NHL Entry Draft 2001, he was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round as 95th overall player.
In the years 2003 to 2005 he played again and again for both the Flyers and their farm team in the American Hockey League, the Philadelphia Phantoms. Sharp had 23 goals and 29 assists with relevant in 75 games share of the Calder Cup - winning the Phantoms in the game year 2004/05.
Along with Éric Meloche, he was transferred on 5 December 2005 for Matt Ellison to the Chicago Blackhawks. On 17 January 2008, Sharp signed a four year contract until the end of the season 2012/13.
On 8 October 2008, Sharp was appointed along with Duncan Keith as assistant captain. In the seasons 2009/10 and 2012/13, he won the Stanley Cup with Chicago.
Internationally
In the 2008 World Cup, the striker made his debut for Canada, calculated at the first World Championships, the ever in the " motherland of Hockey " took place. 2014 he was with the Canadian National Team Olympic champion.
