The Patriotic Union (VU ) is a liberal conservative party in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
History
The roots go back to the VU was founded in 1918, christian - social- oriented People's Party. This closed in 1936 along with the only two years the existing small, increasingly authoritarian German national and aligned Liechtenstein home service to today's Patriotic Union. Co-founder of the Christian Social People's Party was William Beck.
