Patriz Ilg

Patriz Ilg ( born December 5, 1957 in Oberalfingen ) is a former German athlete who until 1987 was part of 1978 to the world's best 3000 - meter steeplechase runners. His greatest achievement was the victory at the World Athletics Championships 1983 ( 8:15,06 min)

Sporting career

Patriz Ilg was eight times German champion in the 3000 meter steeplechase: 1978, 1980-1982 and 1985-1988.
