Paul Burkhard

Paul Burkhard ( born December 21, 1911 in Zurich, † September 6, 1977 in Zell, Canton Zurich ) was a Swiss composer. He wrote mainly oratorios, musicals and operettas. Burkhard lived from 1960 in Zell im Tösstal, near the town of Winterthur. There he also wrote religious drama for children and young people who Zäller Vienna night.

Biography

After visiting the Conservatory ( piano and composition ), he began his career as a coach and conductor at the Stadttheater Bern.
