Paul Dean, Baron Dean of Harptree

Sir ( Arthur) Paul Dean, Baron Dean of Harptree PC ( * September 14, 1924; † 1 April 2009) was a British politician and member of the Conservative Party.

Dean served during the Second World War in the Welsh Guards and suffered a leg injury. He was from 1964 to 1983 delegates of the constituency Somerset North in the House of Commons, and from 1983 to 1992 for the constituency of Woodspring. He was raised to life peer in 1993. He was then in the House of Lords.

In 1979 his first wife Doris Webb died. His second wife Peggy Parker he married in 1980. Since 2002 he was widowed.
