Paul Francis Tanner

Paul Francis Tanner ( born January 15, 1905 in Peoria, Illinois, USA, † July 29, 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida) was Bishop of Saint Augustine.

Life

Paul Francis Tanner received on 30 May 1931, the sacrament of Holy Orders. From 1958 to 1968 Tanner was the General Secretary of the U.S. Bishops' Conference.

On October 18, 1965 Pope Paul VI appointed him. Titular Bishop of Lamasba.
