Paul Kay

Paul Kay (* 1934 in New York City ) is an American linguist and anthropologist.

Life

He is an emeritus professor of linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley, and, along with Brent Berlin, author of the well-known study of color terms in the languages ​​of the world ( Basic Color Terms).
