Paul Knox

Paul Patrick Knox ( born November 23, 1933, Toronto, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in his playing days from 1950 to 1959 among others for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League.

Career

Paul Knox began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Toronto St. Michael's Majors, for which he was active in the Junior Ontario Hockey Association from 1950 to 1954. He then attended the University of Toronto, for their hockey team he played parallel to his studies. During the 1954/55 season, he also came to a single application for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League, where he stayed for point - and unpunished. For the 1955/56 season he joined the amateur team Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen of the Senior Ontario Hockey Association, represented by denenen 1956 he Canada at the Olympic Winter Games. The Dutchmen he stayed another three years before he already finished his career in 1959 at the age of 25 years.

Internationally

For Canada, Knox took part in the Winter Olympics 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
