Paul Preuss (author)

Paul Preuss ( born March 7, 1942 in Albany, Georgia) is an American science fiction author.

Preuss is an author of science fiction novels. He became famous for his novel series Arthur C. Clarke's Venus Prime, whose plot revolves around events, characters and places from short stories by Arthur C. Clarke. His novel core was the inspiration for the movie The Core - The inner core.

In addition, Preuss writes book reviews and technical articles for American newspapers and magazines, and works as a consultant for film companies.
