Paul Ramírez

Paúl Javier Vasquez Ramírez ( born July 30, 1986 in Puerto Ordaz, † December 6, 2011 in Caracas ) was a Venezuelan football player.

Life

Career

Association

Ramirez began his career in his native Caracas FC and in 2004 moved to Argentina to Juventud Anthony. After he convinced the Sudamericano sub20, he got an invitation to trial with Udinese Calcio. He convinced at the trial and signed a contract in Friuli. However, in Udine he came only in the Primavera team to use and therefore joined in January 2005 on loan to the Swiss second division side AC Bellinzona. With AC Bellinzona he remained for half a year and returned in the summer of 2005 back to Udinese Calcio. There he was immediately awarded again, this time to Serie B Ascoli Calcio on. In the summer of 2006 he left Italy and signed in his native Venezuela for UA Maracaibo, where he was but sold again to Minerven FC after half a year. In July 2009, he made his move to SD Centro Ítalo FC known and played here until June 2010. In July of the same year he moved to the Segunda División Venezolana to Tucanes de Amazonas.

Internationally

Ramirez took in 2005 at the Sudamericano sub20 in Colombia part and played his only seniors international match on 25 May 2005 against Panama.

Death

In November 2011, Ramirez suffered a stroke, the consequences of which he died on 6 December 2011.
