Paul Scully-Power

Paul Desmond Scully -Power ( born May 28, 1944 in Sydney, Australia ) is a former American astronaut.

Scully -Power is a native Australians and received U.S. citizenship in 1982. He studied applied mathematics at the University of Sydney.

Scully -Power has participated in numerous research voyages as a scientist. In January 1967 he joined the Australian Navy. From July 1972 to March 1974 he was an exchange scientist at the United States Navy in Connecticut and Washington, DC During this time he was invited to assist the earth observation team of the Skylab program.

In October 1977, he emigrated to the United States.

Astronauts activity

In June 1984, Scully -Power was selected as a payload specialist by NASA. At this time he was civilian employee of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

STS -41 -G
