Paul Slovic

Paul Slovic ( born May 26, 1938 in Chicago) is an American psychologist. He is a professor of psychology at the University of Oregon. Slovic is a leading researcher in the field of risk perception.

Life

Paul Slovic studied psychology at Stanford University (Bachelor 1959). At the University of Michigan he was sent to the master ( 1962) to the Ph.D. (1964 ) a doctorate in psychology. After that, he conducted research from 1964 to 1976 at the Oregon Research Institute and from 1976 to 1986 at Decision Research. Since 1986 he is professor at the University of Oregon and director of Decision Research.
