Paul van Dyk [ fandʏk ] ( born December 16, 1971 in ironworks city as Matthias Paul ) is a German DJ, music producer and radio presenter.

Life

Paul van Dyk grew up in East Berlin. In addition to training as a communications engineer and carpenter in the GDR, he soon turned to the music. In March 1991, van Dyk's career began as a DJ, among others, during the events of " Dubmission " series in the Berlin club turbine in the Kreuzberg district and the newly founded Berlin techno club Tresor.
