Paula Garcés
Paula Garcés ( born March 20, 1974 in Medellín, Colombia ) is an American actress of Colombian descent.
Life and achievements
Paula Garcés, daughter of a teacher and a fisherman, moved as a child to New York City, where she grew up in Spanish Harlem. She was for a time as a kick boxer. The actress made her debut in an episode of the TV series Law & Order from 1991. 's Comedy help! Life with Mikey (1993 ) she played a small supporting role alongside Michael J. Fox, in the film drama Dangerous Minds - Wild Thoughts (1995 ) she starred opposite Michelle Pfeiffer. In the film drama Harvest ( 1998) she played one of the major roles.
In the sci-fi thriller Clockstoppers (2002) played the girlfriend of the main character Garcés. There was a greater role in the adventure comedy Harold & Kumar (2004 ) and its sequels, Harold & Kumar 2 - Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008) and A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas ( 2011). In the action-comedy Man of the House (2005) with Tommy Lee Jones starred opposite Christina Milian, Monica Keena, Vanessa Ferlito and Kelli Garner one of the five cheerleaders who observe a stop. In the comedy Pledge This! (2006) played the role of Gloria Garcés Torrez, who defends himself against intrigues of Victoria English ( Paris Hilton). In 2007, the voice of the actress in the animated short film Red Princess Blues Animated was: The Book of Violence listen, they co-produced. In 2009 she was part of the main cast of internationally produced sci-fi series Defying Gravity - Love in space, but this was stopped again after one season.
