Pavel Drsek

Pavel Drsek [ pavɛl dr̩sɛk ] ( born September 22, 1976 in Kladno ) is a Czech football player at the position of central defender.

Career

Drsek began his footballing career in 1981 at Lokomotiva Kladno and then played 1986-1993 with Poldi Kladno. In 1994 and 1995 he was again in the squad at Lokomotiva Kladno. Other clubs were 1995 Union Cheb and the FK Tachov. In 1996 he went back to Cheb, but moved in the same year for SK Kladno. 1997 Drsek played first for the SK Rakovníka and then went to FK Chmel Blšany.

In 1999, he signed a contract with MSV Duisburg. After six years in which he in the 2nd Bundesliga ( 17 goals ) and 12 Bundesliga games (one goal ) completed 155 games for Duisburg, the center-back came in the summer of 2005 free transfer to VfL Bochum. In the second division team in the season 2005 /06 VfL Bochum of 1.91 m wide Drsek had a regular place.

In the summer of 2008 Drsek moved to Panionios Athens, contested for the Greek first division but only one league game and returned in January 2009 back to SK Kladno. For the 2009/10 season Drsek moved to FK Jablonec Baumit.
