Pavel Sukhov

Pawel Vladislavovich Suchov (Russian Павел Владимирович Сухов; born 7 May 1988 in Samara ) is a Russian fencer.

Achievements

Pawl Suchov won in 2007, the Junior World Championships in Belek with the epee team and won at the Junior European Championships in Poznan bronze with the Russian team. 2008 Suchov won the Coupe de la Paix in Ma'alot in singles and the Junior World Championships in Acireale with the team at the European Junior Championships in Prague, he reached bronze with the team. In 2010 he won the Heidenheimer Pokal and won at the European Championships in Leipzig bronze in singles. In 2012 he was single European champion in Legnano. At the Olympic Games in London, he resigned in epee individual against eventual bronze medalist Jung Jin -sun, and came on the 23th Place. At the World Championships in Budapest in 2013 he defeated in the quarterfinals of the German Falk Spautz 15-14, but lost in the semi-finals to Nikolay Novosjolov from Estonia with just under 14:15, and thus received bronze.
