Pavor
Pavor (Latin for " fear ") is a Death Metal band from Bonn.
Band History
The band was founded in 1991 from the band Catharsis out which renamed itself after its first demo in Pavor. In winter 1992/93 Pavor went into the studio to record the BGM first professionally produced demo record. In the early summer of 1994 we went back into the studio by Bernd guest in Bad Honnef, where he played a debut album A Pale Debilitating Autumn. At this time Rainer remote country man sang regularly as a second voice. As a singer he had experience already by his singing activity in the dark metal band Bethlehem. In 1999, then a promotional demo appeared on the only song Perplexer: Perdition Projectile was included. Nine years after the debut album Pavor took the second album titled Furioso in the studio by Bernd guest under the guidance of producer Armin Rave on, which was also self-published. Meanwhile, a distributor was found in Label MDD Records but. The band existed from the beginning in almost unchanged line-up.
Music and lyrics
The band plays very technical death metal and reminds with its style of play more like jazz music, as musicians hardly apply the so typical for metal music Metal riffing, in which the lead guitar and the other instruments, such as the bass guitar follow but playing instruments independently.
One particularly striking is also the voice of Claudius Schwartz. The song is true even for death metal ratios as particularly powerful and extreme.
The high musical standard of the band is undisputed, however, made the confident and sometimes perceived as arrogant conduct of the musicians also resentment.
