Pavor (Latin for " fear ") is a Death Metal band from Bonn.

Band History

The band was founded in 1991 from the band Catharsis out which renamed itself after its first demo in Pavor. In winter 1992/93 Pavor went into the studio to record the BGM first professionally produced demo record. In the early summer of 1994 we went back into the studio by Bernd guest in Bad Honnef, where he played a debut album A Pale Debilitating Autumn. Music and lyrics

The band plays very technical death metal and reminds with its style of play more like jazz music, as musicians hardly apply the so typical for metal music Metal riffing, in which the lead guitar and the other instruments, such as the bass guitar follow but playing instruments independently.
