Paweł Wojciechowski (athlete)

Paweł Wojciechowski ( born June 6, 1989 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish pole vaulter.

He won his first international success in 2008 with the silver medal at the Junior World Championships in his hometown of Bydgoszcz. He jumped 5.40 m in this competition.

In spring 2011, he finished 4th place at the European Indoor Championships in Paris. In the same year he celebrated his biggest success at the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu. He became world champion with skipped 5.90 m.
