Paweł Wszołek [ pavɛw vʂɔwɛk ] ( born April 30, 1992 Tczew, Poland) is a Polish footballer who is currently at Sampdoria in Serie A under contract.

Career

Wszołek began his career in his hometown with Wisła Tczew. In the summer of 2004 he moved to Lechia Gdańsk, but returned after just one season back to Wisła Tczew. For the season 2009/10 he moved to the reserve team of the first division club Polonia Warsaw, with whom he played in the separate junior league Młoda Ekstraklasa. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he made ​​the leap into the professional squad. On November 13, 2010, being the 13th matchday of the 2010/11 season, he came to his pro debut when he came off the bench in the home match against Ruch Chorzów ( 3-1 ) in the 74th minute for Euzebiusz Smolarek. While he was only seven missions in the first season, he won over the course of the 2011/12 season a regular place.

In January 2013 Wszołek signed with Hannover 96 a contract with a term until 2016. However, he did not appear on two dates to check medicine. The change failed. The players criticized his advisor and management of Polonia Warsaw and complained that his opinion to the transfer hearing had hardly found. He told the Rzeczpospolita: "I felt like a prostitute sold in the West ."

At the end of the 2012/13 season his contract with Polonia was dissolved. Then he moved to Italy in the summer of 2013 to Sampdoria.

National

On October 12, 2012 Wszołek debuted in the Polish national team, as he stood in the starting line-up in a friendly against South Africa ( 1-0).

Previously he has played for the U -19, U -20 and U -21 of the Polish Football Association.
