Payday 2 is developed by Starbreeze Studios and published by 505 Games game. It is the successor of Payday: The Heist, which has been developed by Overkill Software. The aim of the first-person shooter is to plan and execute robberies.

Gameplay

The game is structured in missions that will be referred to as heists (English for robbery ). In the standard version of Payday 2 can be overcome ten heists. There is no story between missions, the game is instead designed as a co-op shooter. In single-player mode, the player will be provided as a substitute for human players two bots to the side.

Almost every mission can alternatively play on stealth. Some of the mission to pull over several days, for others an escape comes in between. Unlike the usual first-person shooter player in Payday 2 will be without a crosshair in aiming.

Reception

Payday 2 received mostly positive ratings ( Metacritic: 79 out of 100 ( Win) / 75 (Xbox 360) / 74 (PS3) ). Scores for the Windows version:

The game sold within the first month after launch 1.58 million times, 80% of them on the digital distribution channel. 2013 won the Golden Joystick Award Payday 2 in the category of Best Multiplayer.
