Pazmanitentempel

The Pazmanitentempel was a large synagogue on the Pazmanitengasse 6 in the 2nd district of Vienna, Leopoldstadt.

The 900 persons (550 and 350 seats) designed, warm air heated temple was built between 1911 and 1913 by architect Ignaz Reiser ( 1863-1940 ) and was inaugurated as Emperor Franz Joseph I. homage temple on September 28, 1913.

During the pogroms of November 1938, the building was destroyed.
