History and construction
The PL -9 Stork is a single-engine aircraft in the form of the Fieseler Storch, but only ¾ of original size for self builders. The aircraft is a tense strutted high-wing monoplane with a two-seat tandem cockpit closed and a fixed conventional landing gear. The machine has similar flight characteristics as their model. The hull is made of welded steel tubes. As a standard Lycoming O -320 with 150 to 160 hp ( 112 to 119 kW) are used.
