Peak envelope power

The peak envelope power ( engl. peak envelope power PEP) is a term used in radio technology with amplitude- modulated signals.

PEP is the average high-frequency active power at the output of a transmitter output stage, while the modulating signal has its peak value. It is also a measure of the power which is fed to the antenna line.
