Pearl Aday

Pearl Aday ( born 1975 ) is an American musician and singer. She is married to guitarist Scott Ian, who is a member of the band Anthrax, and is the adopted daughter of singer Meat Loaf, who they adopted when he married her mother in 1979, Leslie G. Edmonds. She has a half-sister, Amanda Aday, who was born 1981. Pearl Aday is since June 2011 Mother of a son with the name Revel Young Ian.

Career

Aday attended Emerson College in Boston (Massachusetts ) with a focus on " Creative Writing " began shortly thereafter, however, a musical career.

1994 she was background singer on the Meat Loaf tour the album Bat out of Hell II: Back Into Hell. Also on the subsequent tour, which began in 1996, she accompanied her father before a permanent member of his backing band Neverland Express in 1998. In 2003, she sang a duet with her father the Man of Steel on the album Could not Have Said It Better. The title was released in the UK as a single

Pearl Aday also sang at the New Tattoo tour of the band Mötley Crüe and can be seen on the DVD Lewd, Crued, Tattooed and subsequently published. Meanwhile, she has her own band, Pearl.

Aday is currently singer of her band Pearl. The group consists of guitarists Scott Ian and Jim Wilson, bassist Marcus Blake and drummer Matt Tecu. In March 2008, Pearl was opened for Velvet Revolver when they tour in the UK. Their debut album titled Little Immaculate White Fox was taken in 2009 and published in 2010 at Megaforce Records. It contained a cover of Ike & Tina Turner Nutbush City Limits songs, also played Ted Nugent guitar on the song Check Out Charlie.
