Pearls of Passion is the debut album by Roxette. It was published in October 1986 by EMI, but first appeared only in Canada and Sweden. In the Swedish charts, it reached # 2 It was later re-released several times.
Formation
The album was recorded in 1986 in the EMI Studios in Stockholm and released in Sweden and Canada, but internationally published only in 1997, then under the title Pearls of Passion - The First Album. In Canada, where notwithstanding the song Soul Deep in the 7 "version on the album was, it was in 1989 after the success of Look Sharp re-released! , In Scandinavia there was in 1991 a re- release of Pearls of Passion.
