Pečky

Pecky ( German Petschek ) is a city in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers northwest of Kolin and belongs to Okres Kolin.

Geography

Pecky is on the left of the Výrovka on the Bohemian panel. By Pecky the main rail route from Prague leads to Česká Třebová. North of the city runs the route of the motorway D 11, the next exit is Vrbová Lhota.

Neighboring towns are Kostelní Lhota in the north, Vrbová Lhota in the northeast, Ratenice in the east, in the southeast Cerhenice, Dobřichov in the south, and Radim Chotutice the southwest, Tatce in the west and Velké Chvalovice in the northwest.

Until the 19th century was a Pecky agricultural center.
