Pedagogical University
The Pedagogical University (Portuguese Universidade Pedagógica, abbreviated UP) is after the Eduardo Mondlane University, the second largest university in Mozambique. The headquarters of the University is located in Maputo. Founded in 1986 as institution of higher education she received in 1995 the status of a university.
The UP is divided into different faculties ( Faculdades ) and has branch offices ( Delegações ) throughout the country. There are collaborations with the following German universities: University of Education Heidelberg, Dresden University of Technology, Otto -von- Guericke- University Magdeburg. At the UP since 2009, there is a specialist editing of the German Academic Exchange Service ( DAAD).
