Pedro Luís António

Pedro Luís António ( born January 13, 1921 in Caconda ) is Bishop Emeritus of Kwito - Bié.

Life

Pedro Luís António received on 20 July 1952, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 15 June 1979 as Bishop of Kwito - Bié. The Archbishop of Huambo Manuel Franklin da Costa gave him on 29 July of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Alexandre do Nascimento, Archbishop of Lubango, and Francisco Viti, Bishop of Menongue.

On January 15, 1997 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
