Pegu Range

Fdep1 Pegu - Yoma ( Pegu Roma, Pegu Yoman ) is a mountain in Myanmar ( Burma).
It separates the river valleys of the Sittaung and the Irrawaddy and extends from Jemethin in upper Burma almost to the Gulf of Martaban. On its western side it continues up to the delta of the Irrawaddy. On a last foothills in the southwest, the Shwedagon Pagoda in Rangoon rises.
In its extreme north is the 1518 m high extinct volcano Mount Popa, the highest peak of the mountain range.
