PEHA

PEHA is a Slovak pop-rock band that was founded in Prešov in 1997. She is currently one of the most successful pop groups from Slovakia.

History

The pop group PEHA was discovered by the Slovak scene in April 1997. First there were connections with the record company Škvrna Records. In 1997, a contract with the company Sony Music Bonton was signed. In the summer of 1999, the title was Diaľkové ovládanie both on the radio and on television for two months, the most played song in Slovakia. Another success celebrated the title To sa Ti len CSP. In September 1999, finally the first album Nieco sa chystá was published.

After PEHA was on tour in the summer of 2000, she began the second album called Krajinou prepare, which was released in spring 2001. The first single from it was the song Hlava vínna, telo nevinné. This year Katarína Knechtová received the award Aurel, 2001 in the category "Best singer ".

In 2003 the third album Experiment with singles such Naoko spim, Len tak is Hypnotická and Slnečná balada was published. Then PEHA went with the Czech pop group Chinaski on tour.

The next album Deň medzi nedeľou a pondelkom appeared in 2005 and has been produced with the record company Universal Music. The first single Za tebou won the award Aurel 2005 in four categories: " Best Singer ", " Best Song ", " Best Album " and " Best Pop group ". The album itself was recognized for the sale in Slovakia and the Czech Republic with platinum with gold.

In November 2006 PEHA was with the Czech pop group Krystof on Rubicon Tour go. The tour was preceded by the release of a " Best of " album at the former record company Sony BMG. The tour culminated on 9 December 2006 at a concert in the Prague T -Mobile Arena in front of over 9,000 spectators.

End of 2006, finally came the ballad Spomal 'as the lead single from the album Deň medzi nedeľou a pondelkom in the charts and was a total of 10 weeks, the number one in the Czech official charts ( including 9 consecutive weeks ). In early 2007 got the album in the Czech lands triple platinum for sales of more than 30,000 pcs.

Meanwhile rotates in the Czech Radio, the fourth single release from Deň medzi nedeľou a pondelkom called renesancia.
