Pellegrino Turri

Pellegrino Turri was a noble Italian inventor, who established in 1808 a typewriter for the blind Countess Carolina Fantoni da Fivizzono. Letters were written on the machine are obtained. The machine itself is neither receive nor are accurate descriptions submitted. Based on the surviving letters can be seen that the machine worked using colored paper and letterpress.

Other early typewriters developers are Henry Mill, who had in 1714 patented a typewriter, or Karl Drais, who invented a typewriter for his blind father in 1821.
