Pemphigus

Pemphigus ( to Greek πέμφιξ Pemphix bladder, edema on the skin) is the generic term for a group of blistering skin diseases, which are among the autoimmune skin diseases. Differences are:

  • Pemphigus vulgaris
  • Pemphigus foliaceus
  • Pemphigus benign familial (syn. Hailey - Hailey )
  • Seborrhoicus pemphigus ( pemphigus erythematosus or Senear Syn - Usher syndrome)
  • Paraneoplastic pemphigus
  • Dermatitis herpetiformis ( Syn: Duhring 's Disease, Duhring - Brocq 's disease)
  • Pemphigus vegetans, a variant of pemphigus vulgaris
  • Bullous pemphigoid (syn. Parapemphigus )
