Pentax K1000

The Pentax K1000 is a 35mm SLR with TTL metering. You already came to the market in 1975 and was produced until 1997. The K1000 is one of the fully mechanical cameras that require battery power only as a power supply for the built-in exposure meter. The camera uses the Pentax K bayonet. The K1000 is the simplest version of the K- series. It has no connection Winder, no self-timer, no depth- and still is one of the best-selling SLR ever.

The lens mount is the K bayonet. The closure is a closing cloth, which runs horizontally. Shutter speeds are adjustable from 1 s to 1/ 1000 s and B.

The dimensions of the enclosure are 143 mm × 91.5 mm × 49 mm and its weight 620 g to 525 g ( without lens).

As a light meter battery is a 1.5V silver oxide batteries of the type A76, SR44 used etc..
