People's Party (Finland, 1932)

The People's Party (Finnish: Kansanpuolue ) was a political party in Finland that existed from 1932 to 1936.

The party was founded on 21 August 1932 in Ylivieska. Chairman of the party was Yrjö Hautala, his deputy Fredrik Rautio. In 1936, the party at the newly formed small-scale farmers and rural people's party.

The People's Party represented populist interests of the peasantry. Was at the center of the region around Kalajoki on the northern west coast of Finland. In the parliamentary elections in 1933 as a candidate reasonableness of the party in the electoral districts Vaasa and Oulu.
