Pepsi & Shirlie

Pepsi & Shirlie were a British pop duo. It consisted of the two singers Helen "Pepsi " DeMacque ( born December 10, 1958 in Paddington, London) and Shirley " Shirlie " Holliman ( born April 18, 1962 in Watford, Hertfordshire)

DeMacque Holliman and started her career as a backing singers of the band Wham!. After the dissolution of Wham! took on the two 1987 an album together.

Their debut single Heartache rose in the UK Singles Chart at # 2 The follow-up single Goodbye Stranger reached the UK's Top Ten.

Pepsi DeMacque toured as a singer in the " Then and Now " tour in 1999 with Mike Oldfield. On the DVD "Tubular Bells II and III" by Mike Oldfield she is as a singer in the live premiere of Tubular Bells III here. She was also on New Year's Eve 1999 as a vocalist with a performance of The Millennium Bell in Berlin at the Victory Column here.
