Per Højholt

Per Højholt ( born July 22, 1928 in Esbjerg, † 15 October 2004 in Silkeborg ) was a Danish writer. It counts with Inger Christensen of the most important and most innovative modern poets of his language.

Life

Until 1965 Højholt worked as a librarian; after that he worked as a freelance writer. In 1949 he made ​​his debut with the poetry collection " The horse and the sun ."
