Peroxydisulfate

Peroxodisulfates (deprecated persulfate ) are the salts of peroxodisulphuric ( H2S2O8 ).

Known salts are potassium peroxodisulfate ( K2S2O8 ) and ammonium. Peroxodisulfates arise, for example in the anodic oxidation of sulfates. They are strong oxidizing agents.
