Perrero
Perrero ( Piedmontese Pré, Perrier Occitan ) is a commune with 707 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Valle Germanasca in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont. It is located in the Cozie Alps near the border with France.
Germanasca is a side valley of the Val Cluson and one of the three Waldensian valleys, where the Calvinist lay movement of the Waldenses had their retreat.
The municipality covers an area of 63 km ².
The neighboring communities are:
- Above the valley Salza di Pinerolo Germanasca, Prali and Massello,
- In Chisone Roure, Perosa Argentina, Pomaretto and Pramollo
- Val Pellice (south of the mountains ) Angrogna and Villar Pellice.
