Pes anserinus (leg)
With Pes anserinus (Latin for " goose foot " ) is called a chord structure on the inside of the lower leg. It owes its name to the fact that it consists of three muscle tendons that attach at a common point and thus reminiscent of a goosefoot.
Pes anserinus superficialis ( superficial goosefoot )
The pes anserinus superficialis is a product derived from the union of the semitendinosus, gracilis and Sartorius tendon triangular aponeurosis, which attaches below the inner trochanter of the shin (tibia).
Pes anserinus profundus (deep goosefoot )
The pes anserinus profundus arises from the semimembranosus tendon company resulting three trains ( the back of the knee joint capsule ) for internal trochanter of the tibia, the fascia of the popliteal muscle and ligament as oblique popliteal ).
