Petar Zhekov

Petar Petrov Schekow ( born January 10, 1944 in Knischownik, Oblast Haskovo ) is a former Bulgarian football player.

Schekow played from 1968 to 1975 at CSKA Sofia in the period for which he hit 144 times. In the 1968/69 season he won the Golden Shoe by UEFA as the best European scorer when he scored 36 goals this season for CSKA Sofia. Schekow was 1963-1972 national team of Bulgaria and he played in the period 44 games in which he scored 25 goals.
