Pete Woods

Peter " Pete " Woods is an American comic book artist.

Life and work

Woods began in the mid 1990s as a professional artist Wildstorm to work at the American comic book publisher, where he quickly became one of the closest associates of Jim Lee. Woods left Wildstorm finally, to communicate with other artists from his hometown of Portland, including his wife Rebecca Woods to start the Mercury Studio.

Parallel to the work for his own studio works Woods notably as a draftsman for the two major U.S. comic book publishers DC Comics and Marvel Comics. While Woods was responsible for DC as well-known series such as Robin, Catwoman and Action Comics, as well as the unusual series Amazons Attack, he worked for Marvel, especially in action-heavy insider as Deadpool and Backlash. Among the authors with whom Woods far more frequently collaborated artistically, include Chuck Dixon and Ed Brubaker.
