Peter Hasse

Peter Hasse the Elder (c. 1575 francs, buried June 16, 1640 in Lübeck, also called Peter Hasse ) was an organist and composer of the north German organ school.

Life

Little is known about the early years of hatred. Maybe it's been a pupil of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck. In 1616, he took over from his predecessor Hermann Ebel, the organist at the Marienkirche in Lübeck. Together with his followers Franz Tunder and Buxtehude Dietrich Hasse is responsible for ensuring that Lübeck became one of the leading musical centers in northern Germany.
