Peter Keefe
Peter Eugene Keefe ( born 1953 in Rochester (New York), † May 27, 2010 ) was an American television producer.
Keefe, who worked as a film critic for TV station KPLR since 1979, worked in 1983 as a producer for World Events Productions, where he adapted Japanese anime series for Western television. This resulted, for example, from the series Hyakujū Ō GoLion and Kiko Kantai Dairugger XV series Voltron that was broadcast in more than 100 countries. After the templates were assumed from the Japanese series, a team produced under Keefe own consequences.
To assist in the sale of the Series in other markets, remote Keefe in his arrangements often country-related cultural allusions.
In 1989, Keefe Zodiac Entertainment, where he also produced television series. Most recently he worked on the series Z-Force.
Private
Keefe was married and had a stepson. He died at the house of one of his sisters to cancer of the larynx.
