Peter Löscher

Peter Löscher ( born September 17, 1957 in Villach, Austria ) is an Austrian manager. He was appointed at an extraordinary meeting of the Supervisory Board of Siemens AG on May 20, 2007 Chairman of the Board and entered this office on July 1, 2007. On July 31, 2013, was dismissed by the Supervisory Board as Chief Executive Officer and resigned from the Managing Board of Siemens AG.

Training

Extinguisher grew up in Villach, where his father ran a sawmill. Due to a serious illness he missed the first three primary school years. His mother taught him at home reading and writing.
