Peter Morwood

Peter Morwood ( born October 20, 1956 in Lisburn, Northern Ireland ) is a Northern Irish fantasy, science fiction and screenplay writer, of the German language area primarily for his co- authorship of the screenplay for the successful Sat1 miniseries Die Nibelungen and by two translated into German novels of the Star Trek series has appeared.

Life

When Robert Peter Smyth born in Lisburn near Belfast, he went to school there also until 1975. After that he took part in the Belfast Queen's University on a study of English language and literature, history and law, from which he graduated in 1979 with a bachelor's degree. Since 1980 employed as an employee of the customs authority, he published in 1983 under his later officially adopted pseudonym Peter Morwood ( his mother's maiden name ), the novel The Horse Lord, which was followed by 1984 and 1986, more novels. Since 1986 freelance writer, Morwood moved briefly to Los Angeles. He is married to the science fiction and fantasy - author Diane Duane since 1987 and lives with her in County Wicklow in the Republic of Ireland.
