Peter Öttl

Peter Öttl ( born March 24, 1965 in Salzberg Berchtesgaden ) is a German former motorcycle racer.

His son Philip is also an active racer.

Career

The 1.69 meter tall and 57 kg heavy active time from Ainring derived Peter Öttl went from 1982 to 1997 with more than 100 Grands Prix Motorcycle World Championship at the start. Characterized was his motorsport career, which he began in motocross range, from many falls. First driving in the Motorcycle World Championship on a Krauser in the 80 cc class, Öttl 1988 fifth in the World Cup overall standings. In the following year he celebrated three Grand Prix victories and drove up to the last race of the season on World Cup course.
