Peter Perchtold

Peter André Perchtold ( born September 2, 1984 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a German former football player.

Career

Perchtold, son of an Austrian father and a German mother, his career began in 1992 at the 1st SC Feucht. In summer 2005, the midfielder moved to VfB Stuttgart, where he played first in the second team. In October 2007, he was promoted from coach Armin Veh in the squad for the first team, after he had by this already contested the preparation. His Bundesliga debut Perchtold on 20 October 2007 in an away match between VfB Stuttgart and Hamburger SV.

For the season 2008/ 09 changed Perchtold 1 FC Nuremberg and became there quickly to the root player before an injury threw him back again. So he had come in the first round on 13 missions, where he played eleven times over the full time and in the seventh match against Rot Weiss Ahlen scored his first goal. Then he came in the second half only to use over the full time and Substitutes in the 88th minute. After the climb, he was not even considered in the first round of the 2009/10 season for the bank. After it was replaced the winter break coach Michael Oenning by Dieter Hecking, let this Perchtold only train with the amateurs. However, after a serious knee injury, he was also there in the second half no longer used.

In January 2011, he broke his contract with Nurnberg on and signed in the Australian A -League Gold Coast United in a long-term contract, but first played with a temporary guest player license. After club owner Clive Palmer had decided in the season break in 2011, only to award one-year contracts and Perchtold had refused to agree to a contract changes, his contract of Association page was dissolved. Perchtold went against this process before the Australian Association and received in November 2011 in a first judgment for breach of contract compensation in the amount of A $ 340,000 awarded. In the verdict, the behavior of Gold Coast United as " dishonorable " and was "arbitrary" and criticized a " most disregard of the law of contract underpinning principles " found. Palmer refused to pay the sum and explained that they had had no opportunity to use the contract as Perchtold was in possession of a valid visa. For the 2011/12 season he returned to Germany and signed a contract with the 2nd team of FSV Mainz 05 in the Regionalliga West. With the end of the 2012/13 season Perchtold ended his football career.
