Peter Schenk the Younger

Peter Schenk the Younger ( * February 15, 1693 in Amsterdam, † January 14, 1775 ) was a German engraver and map publisher, which is the preeminent publisher of Saxon special cards in the first half of the 18th century.

He was the son of the engraver and map publisher Peter Schenk the Elder (1660-1718), following the expansion of its offering to include maps and maps of the central German area, which had begun his father. From Nicolaes Visscher Dutch publishers II, he also acquired pressure plates for further expansion of the publishing program. Schenk also frequently collaborated with Adam Friedrich Wroth.
