Peter Simon (actor)

Peter Simon ( born September 27, 1943 in New York ) is an American actor.

Simon is best known from the U.S. soap opera " Guiding Light ". There he played the Dr. Ed Bauer 1981 to 1984, from 1986 to 1996 and from 2002 to 2004. For this role he was nominated for an Emmy in 1994 and 1993, 1994 and 1995 for the Soap Opera Digest Award.

Peter Simon with his first wife Merle Louise three children. Since 1975 he has been married to actress Courteney Sherman. The couple has a child together.
