Peter Stuhlmacher

Peter Stuhlmacher ( born January 18, 1932 in Leipzig) is a Protestant theologian and New Testament scholar and taught most recently as Professor of New Testament at the University of Tübingen.

Life

Stuhlmacher studied at the St. Thomas School in Leipzig in 1951 and put his Abitur in Stuttgart from. He then studied until 1958 Protestant theology at the University of Tübingen. From 1959 to 1968 he worked as an assistant at the Evangelical Theological Seminary of the University of Tübingen, 1962, he received a doctorate in theology .. In 1967 he qualified as a professor for the subject of the New Testament in Tübingen. From 1968 to 1972 he worked at the Theological Faculty of the Friedrich- Alexander -University Erlangen- Nuremberg as a professor of New Testament, 1972, he returned to Tübingen back to the Faculty of Protestant Theology. Work
